Textiles Book - Fabric Book
The course consists of two parts. In the practical part, we first become familiar with several types of textile books. We discuss the various stabilizers and the possibilities of the "book binding".
We sew several models to "practice" and make an example or a variety of techniques, such as photo transfer on fabric, writing on fabric, bonding, collage, margin accounts, making the spine, paper and fabric, etc. In the 2nd Part of each participant develops a concept for their personal book. She designs one or more pages for her book that she finished sewing at home. Or are they processed in the first part designed as book pages into a textile sketchbook.
